The new site is mostly done. I still have a few photos to add to different galleries, but the main part is ready. I will try to keep this blog up to date, I haven’t had a blog in a long time, so we’ll see how this goes. 😀
Next Sunday (the 24th) I am hosting a free amigurumi workshop at geek central (La Fontana Cafe in Burnaby), so if you are somewhere around Vancouver and want to learn how to crochet an amigurumi, come on out! No prior crochet knowledge required, just bring the needed yarns and needles and such.
For the workshop, I am currently re-visiting my own amigurumi pattern which I used to make the pirates in my gallery. I am changing a few things up.
This is what we will be working with! Yay! (yes, I use paperclips as stitch markers, they are cheap, easy to use and I have a ton of them, no need to buy special stitch markers)
So, once this is done and written out, I will try to work on a penguin pattern of roughly the same size per special request.
Love and chocolate for all!
