Cthulhu Dice Bag Pattern Available Now

I have finally finished my newest pattern and it’s now available on Etsy and on Ravelry. The pattern is fully written out and comes with over 60 full colour photos, so check it out!

I’m very happy I’ve finally finished another pattern, it’s been way too long. Let’s hope the next one won’t have as much of a long wait before it sees the light of day!

Cthulhu Dice Bag

I recently bought a set of Cthulhu Dice and was very excited to receive the green and yellow version (as it said it would ship out a random colour and I really wanted something green), but since the game doesn’t come with any box or bag but simply in a blister pack, I immediately set to task to crochet a Cthulhu shaped bag to hold my game!

Cthulhu Dice Bag

It turned out just big enough to hold all items, but I’ll try to make one slightly bigger so there’s a bit of wiggle room and I’m planning to make it a purchasable pattern in my online shop, so keep your eyes peeled!

Crochet Hook Holder

I got myself a new set of hooks, one can never have too many hooks! Especially nice cushioned ones. Obviously I had to make a new holder for these new hooks as well, and this time I chose green.

Just a quick and easy project, but oh so useful!

Love and chocolate for all!

Rainbow Arms

I finished my fingerless gloves to match my rainbow scale scarf.

I absolutely love this yarn, I still have a few balls of it left so am thinking about what kind of rainbowy goodness to make next!

Niffler All Done

Took about a month to finish this little guy, but he’s finally done! He’s just a prototype, but I’m quite happy with the result.

I’ll write out the pattern soon and then work one with the actual yarn intended for Niffler, which is a fuzzy towelling yarn to make him cuddlier.

He’ll hopefully become my first new pattern in a looooong time!

Niffler Jazz Hands!

It’s a work in progress, I just tucked his paws in his pouch to store them while I finish his legs. When I looked over it just made me chuckle.

Well, that’s more like it…

Rocket has arms! Two of them!

Now on to the tail. I hope I can make him stand up and balance with his tail, but as he’s getting quite heavy, I’m not super hopeful. We shall see!

Cheers,
MyntKat

I need an arm. Honestly, I really need it!

I’ve finally managed to work some more on perhaps my largest project to date, the wonderful Rocket! He has both legs and one arm now.

He’s coming along so well. I completely removed both his arms and did them all over again because his feet and legs turned out so much better than the first version of his arms and I needed them to match.
I think this is one of the most important things when working on a new freehand work, you have to be willing to completely unravel and start over again.

I’m hopeful I’ll be able to finish the second arm and start on his jumpsuit before Halloween!

Cheers,
MyntKat

Rock It

I’ve finally been working on this project again! I’m not sure if I like his facial expression, but at least he’s got a face now. Here’s hoping I can actually finish the project before NineWorlds starts!

New project!

So, I just started a new project. It all started with just picking the right colours and ordering the yarn.
And then it descended all into chaos!

This is what it looks like when I work on a new pattern!
